The Sims 3 Supernatural Trailer
From the looks of it, there will be a new neighborhood. But they have to have a new neighborhood, right? I’m really excited about that. I also saw some great new items for CAS and Buy/Build mode. I must admit, I’m getting a little excited. Not like over the top excited, but still excited. It also looked like there were zombies at the end of the trailer. Please EA, let there be a zombie apocalypse. Lol. Here is the trailer:

I am in no way shape or form excited for this EP. It’s just too…. different. I even didn’t like the Vampire concept of Late Night. The reason I don’t like it is it’s not per se, Realistic. Sure It would be fun sometimes to be able to do that stuff. But it may also just make things really weird and abnormal for your town. I was hoping for EA to release Universities. I’m extremely let down.
I’m going to buy it, because I like these things. But I agree with you, they need to make some Universities and Seasons, in the Sims 2 I think Seasons was the best addition to the game, and would be a great addition to the Sims 3. And Universities would give the teen sims something to look forward to after high school as well.
Nobody ever said Sims HAD to be like real life, cos that would suck hard! Personally I love the supernatural creatures and can’t wait to add them to my game making it way more fun to play then just having my sims lead a drab boring life where nothing exciting or fantastic ever happens!
I realize that it doesnt necessarily have to be realistic. But that’s more my taste. Sure it would be fun to do all those things but there are still other ways to make the Sims “Exciting and “Fantastic.” For me the whole Supernatural concept is just too different for my taste.
But hey, everybody has their opinions.

I am REALLY exited i love supernatural things.. and my hogwarts making is gonna have a whole another diffrence now! ^^ I don’t mind zombies,werewolves,fairys with more running around in Moonlight Falls.. in sunset valley and all other town it’s gonna be pretty limited i think
Like just so limited that you COULD be a werewolf if you wanted in- for example Twinbrook. Just like there’s someone avalable that COULD turn you if you wanted. Don’t now if that made any sense.. but to me atleast :3
Same i was hoping for something like holiday and educations:more holiday destinations (caravans)and going on ferrys and planes also seasons + universitie
I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS EXPANSION PACK!! I would love to have family of werewolves or fairies I never had any of this because I only have the sims 3.

I was really excited for this EP, but now… not as much. I find it more unlike sims, and did anybody else notice that it looks like they are adding vampires again, after LN. I find that strange… I dunno, I’m not excited, I mean, Quxxn, remember how everybody becomes a vampire in gameplay? Now imagine adding werewoves and zombies to that… The witches and fairies I wouldn’t mind, but seriously. I hope Zombies only happen to dead sims who died of something OTHER than old age!

Eh…I’m not excited. I like the Sims being real life not fairytale creatures. I never even made my Sim a vampire because again I like to play my game realistic not in fairytale world. Im begging God That EA makes season. Its all I want. I’ll be complete!!

The thing with this expansion pack is that if ea doesn’t make a control button or something so you can control creatures in the world for example ( your palying in this world but you do not whant nothing supernatural you go and cancel it) if its like that then ok. But if not its not fun to play in sunset valley and sudenly your neighbor is a zombie or the girl you were flirting sudenly is a fairy. What??? That would suck so badly. If they do that then ok and I can see myself buying it, if not i do not want all this creatures in my regular world!!! Love u Quxxn!! ♥
It’s okay. I know that you can at least make the faeries and werewolves in CAS because I’ve seen screenshots of specific sliders for them. I think EA have realised their vampire mistake and have addressed it. In fact, I think that is why EA re-added vampires to the game, so they could replace the Late Night system.
Yeah, i saw pics a month ago or so where it said in cas: “Werewolf nose, ears” so yeah.. you can do that atleast. A witch is something you become if you study black magic alot until you turn i think,
I completely agree with you! Being able to turn off the supernatural feature so it doesn’t mess with my regular world. That would make me more keen on buying it!
This new EP looks really fun to play, well… it is in my opinion.
i love fantasy creatures and stuff so im really excited… if there was a dragon as a pet in the game that would be really cool im excited

I REALLY hope you can limit the creatures that appear in your world I mean the LN vampires already annoy me enough (primarily because they eventually are like 1/2 of the population) And honestly TS3 already has enough Life States if you have all the EPs. Grr… EA, Maxis better have control over the development of TS4. I don’t know if I’ll buy it. (if it is an actual EP)
I think if it was only possible for you to create the creatures in CAS and then the ones in the game already it would be fine, but because they make you change in-game, random sims become creatures. I dont think i would mind a farrie as much as a zombie running around my neighborhood.
Look at the mountains in the back of the town!!! Do u see what I see? SNOW!!! I have heard that there is lightning storms in the ep. I am still looking for info though. I hate it when EA is secretive. Happy Simming!

I read somewhere that it should be coming out around September – October :3
In Italy the release date is September 7th. So depending where you are, it should be around that date.

Please everyone, pipe down with all this Seasons stuff. You have to keep in mind that TS3 Seasons would be a lot more difficult than TS2 Seasons. One thing is that the weather would effect the entire town, rather than one lot – so EA would have to find a way to make that as least draining as possible. Also, they have to actually change the approach from purely seasonal activities. Many of Seasons interactions are already available in just the base game, let alone the other Expansions.
You’ll get Seasons soon enough so just let all the fantasy players out there get time to be the priority and be patient.
On another note: WooHoo! Flying sims and at least 17 different hairstyles!
Also, has anyone noticed how expensive this expansion is compared to the others. 40 euro is equal to £32 and $50. Although this is for limited edition, Amazon is always cheaper than EA so the origin price will be ludicrous! Maybe ths s just for pre-order though.
I agree with you. I really want Seasons, more than anything. I think if they aren’t able to create it, they should tell us. I know they usually don’t do that, but people want Seasons, and we think they are just ignoring us and saving it for the last ep and charging us extra.
Agreed. They probaly wan’t very well done.. it’s not just the player’s/active’s lawn that have wheater.. it’s the whole town! YAY FOR FLYING SIMS! And the werewolf running looks amazing, just like it should be, on all four! xD

Your sims get turned into zombies with a potion and can be turned back with another potion the alcemest sims can make! I know that much.
I’m excited, BUT I would have preferred seasons. What worries me is that Seasons will be the last expansion and by then Sims 4 will be almost ready to launch and it won’t matter anymore. To me Seasons should have been the second expansion because now we have had to play for 3-4 years with no weather in game. By the time they add it, no one will care anymore and it will be almost time for The Sims 4

I must say, I am in a way disappointed. It seems like The Sims 3 will only share some things with The Sims 2. And that’s okay, it’s just not many people want stuff like this, including me. The reason why I liked The Sims is because you could just control a realistic life, and this EP is making it less realistic. I feel this makes The Sims 3 a totally different game, and that saddens me a little bit. I feel the chances of University and Seasons coming to The Sims 3 are slim to none, and that is very disappointing.

I thought i would hate this EP, and i probally will. But this trailer makes it looks so apealing. The thing is if they figure out how to contain these” beings” to one town that would be fine. I wight buy it then. Or if they make only sims you play or pre-made sims “beings” then i would also enjoy it. I just can’t stand when i want to play a regular family and suddenly your best friend is a zombie.. like WTF?

I’m only excited because it’s something NEW :/ I’ve been so bored since showtime.
But I’m with the people who like the realistic view of sims 3. Hopefully they’ll work towards that aspect after this EP.

But, I’ve seen the pics, and it looks pretty cool! I only hope that I don’t get tons of Zombie’s and Werewolves overrunning my town (like with the Vamps from Late Night) when I’m trying to play a non-Supernatural game. Also, the name was slightly misleading XD Someone posted ‘I hate Supernatural’ on their Sims 3 page and I immeadiatly thought of the TV show :L
And to everyone who wanted Seasons Universities; I think we should just give up on the fact that EA clearly doesn’t listen to anything we want! I mean, we buy the Sims products, if they had made a Seasons/Universities pack they would have made a ton more money that this Supernatural one. And everyone is saying this is the 2nd last EP, so if they do made Seasons/Universities it will be either or now.
I have one concern with this expansion pack. I mean, I know some people didn’t like the vampires from Late Night, and sometimes they just keep turning people into vampires; I mean, my current game’s town is half filled with vampires! With such a large amount of vampires, they’re not as special or unique any more. What if you don’t want a fantasy themed town? Too bad! Fairies will now be breeding all over the place yaaaaay. Hopefully there will be an option as to whether the werewolves, fairies and zombies will appear regularly in your town. Don’t get me wrong, I’m actually really excited about this; just a little….worried, thats all.
I feel the same… Occasionally I don’t mind having the vampires if I want to make one (which is like never) so I really hope they make an option to turn on/off whether you want your town overrun with all these creatures.
Relax, I’m positive that you can at least make Faeries and Werewolves in CAS. I also think there is a high chance that you can use potions to change into one of the new creatures. I also think this game may stop the vampire spawning, seeming how vampires are being added again.
Even then, they would have to have people in the town turn into vamps, werewolves and zombies (because I don’t think you get turned into a witch or a faery) so that you can have someone turn into a vampire, werewolf or zombie. Can you imagine asking a zombie to turn you sims like with the vampires from Late Night? I hope they don’t randomly eat me…
LoL, then what’s the fun of it? “Excuse me sir, would you mind me eating your brain? :3″ But that’s probalby how it’s gonna be.. think i saw a pic where a zombie bited an arm.. that’s probably the “turn”.
And with the limited edition you get a peashooter (and other cool, stuff) to keep zombies, and other intruders off your lawn! >8D

Okay here is my opinion on it all: I WANTED MERMAIDS!!!!! :’(
When I heard about the EP I was crossing my fingers for mermaids. The zombies honestly look like regular sims with tinted skin, they’re just expanding on the vampire idea, I don’t think I would want werewolves over-running my town. I probably wouldn’t mind the fairies and witches too much though. The gypsies probably wouldn’t bother me either, I just really wish they would’ve added in mermaids. I’m also hoping that they add a way that you can turn the creatures off or control how many are in a town through the options menu.
I think I’ll wait for more information or even an LP from Quxxn before I say yes to buying this EP.
Also how cool would it be too make an apocalypse? XD

It’s been announced. There are FINALLY controllers to set limits on what creatures you want in your town and how many. This is also happening for the Celebrities, stray pets and LN Vampires! No more vampire celebrity towns!

i gotta say i’m going too love this expansion pack , i know their are modes for wings and stuff but i didn’t want to ruin my computer, and zombies will be no probelm as long as none of my exsisting household becomes on apon installision. the vampire life form was cool and all but it got pretty annoying when you got a negative moodlet just for being in the sun. but this looks promising and a fitting enough to add to the game. really i just love the sims because you can do stuff that you can’t normally do in life.

Apparently none of u got ur sims updated yet.U can turn them off in other sims 3 games.I cant wait 4 this EP.Actually,I cant wait 2 get all the EPs I want which will b this week after Supernatural comes out.(Hopefully!).
