What I’ve Been Up To… (Sneak Peek #1)
First and foremost, no, this is not the surprise that was mentioned in my recent update video. So, I’ve been wanting to build something lately. I love creating lots in The Sims 3, and even though I’m not the best at it, it is still really fun to create things for my game. Today, I have decided to create a strip mall for my sims. It is still a work in progress but I did finish the very first store! It’s a clothing boutique (Sara’s Fashions). I love the way that it turned out. Here are some screenshots of my progress:
I really cannot wait for the finished product. I’m going to take my time with it because once I get tired and bored, I get lazy and slack when it comes to furnishing. That is one tip for newbie builders like myself: Take breaks! Build once you’re in the mood, and only then, otherwise, you will not be satisfied with your work. I also started on a cafe. I thought it would be cute to use Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats, but umm… that was a total FAIL. Lol. I’m going to make it a normal, calming cafe as I originally planned. Here is a look at my Sweet Treats fail:
Well, I’ll try to keep you guys posted on my progress. The outside looks great as well, but I won’t show you guys until it is fully completed. I have to leave something for the imagination, right? Lol. I love you guys and thanks for reading.

That is one of the most cutest Boutiques I had ever sawn in The Sims 3, I’m not Kidding!

You say you aren’t good at building, but these are always great! I am bad at building. The first house I build was a legit rectangle. Thats it. I look to you a my sim goddess. Keep up the good work and please put this one up on the exchange. Love you!

I totally thought this was sims 2 by looking at that first picture. Quxxn, I know you say you aren’t the best builder but frankly, you have patience, something EVERY builder needs. I wish I had patience, but you know I’m crazy. Lmao. Jk. <3 you quxxn

I love your buildings. Your not the typical builder that does all the craziness, so you buildings turn out nice and useable. Most of the time people go overboard with it and it ends up glitchy.
